Through this album, EVNNE gathered and mixed the sounds they like themselves, discovering new forms of fun within them. Rather than focusing on what others like, they listened to what moves them now. When the five members gather in the same place making their own sound and responding to one another’s, those pieces gradually build into music that is uniquely EVNNE’s.

The album jacket captures a day in the lives of the five members as a ‘music collecting club.’ Wearing ID cards around their necks, they wander through familiar spaces, paying attention to sounds and scenes they would normally pass by unwittingly. The resonance of the air echoing beneath an underpass, a moment when sunlight breaks apart, a bicycle carrying a speaker as it rides along, the vibrations created by trains and cars, and even sounds drifting through the alleys. These different sounds and images gradually come together as a single record through the five members’ perspectives.

The pieces gathered in this way come together on the rooftop where the members unite, transforming into another form of music. Time looking toward the same place, listening, talking, joking, and enjoying what they love together.
