BTS releases 'YOU NEVER WALK ALONE' - completing 'WINGS' with its companion album! "We can smile if we're together" - A message of comfort and hope for the youth of this generation!

Having made a worldwide impact with their second full-length album 'WINGS' in October 2016, BTS releases 'WINGS Companion: YOU NEVER WALK ALONE' on February 13th.

The 'WINGS Companion' album completes the story of youth and growth that BTS was unable to fully capture in 'WINGS'. While the 'HYYH' series and 'WINGS' were narratives about youth and growth, 'WINGS Companion' delivers a warm message of comfort and hope to the hurting youth of this generation. The title track 'Spring Day', with its widely accessible melody that transcends generations, showcases BTS's further expanded musical world. The lyrics, which incorporate personal experiences from RM and SUGA, carry a warm message of holding onto hope while waiting to reunite with a distant friend. Notably, RM took a leading role in producing a title track for the first time by composing the song's main melody. 'Not Today' goes one step further from BTS's longstanding critique of a distorted world, delivering a message to the youth of this era to take action together. The track carries on the lineage of previous songs such as 'Baepsae', 'Dope', and 'Am I Wrong', showcasing BTS's unique musical energy on an even more powerful sonic foundation.

'Outro: Wings', a full realization of 'Interlude: Wings' from the second full-length album 'WINGS', along with 'You Never Walk Alone' - the album's final track subtitled 'A Supplementary Story' - bring a total of 4 new songs added to the 14 tracks from 'WINGS', ultimately completing the wings to soar while continuing the story of its predecessor. Released in two versions - 'Left' and 'Right' - the jacket photos for 'YOU NEVER WALK ALONE' capture the seven members in various settings, from a quiet seaside to an abandoned factory. The members, styled attractively, are shown putting their arms around each other and playfully joking around, showcasing BTS's unique chemistry while expressing the album's theme that "together, we can overcome any hardship and darkness." This visual message is even more prominent in the music videos. 'Spring Day', which doesn't lose its warm message of revival and hope even within its heartbreakingly sad visuals, and 'Not Today', which incorporates contemporary dance to deliver a next-level, record-breaking performance - these two music videos solidify the group's identity with a level of quality that doesn't disappoint fans and the powerful storytelling BTS has consistently maintained.

Meanwhile, following 'WINGS', BTS members RM, SUGA, and j-hope once again actively participated in producing, writing, and composing under the direction of Big Hit's Pdogg, 'hitman' bang, Slow Rabbit, and Supreme Boi, showcasing their growth as artists. Additionally, renowned mixing engineer James F. Reynolds - who has worked with Jessie J and Selena Gomez - returns from 'WINGS' to deliver a rich yet detailed sound.
