EVNNE이 오디션 프로그램으로 시작된 프로젝트 그룹을 넘어, 정식 그룹으로서 첫 번째 싱글 앨범 [뱉어 (Backtalk)]을 선보인다.
다섯 멤버가 온전히 스스로 선택한 이번 앨범은, 완벽을 연기하기보다 불완전한 자신과 정면으로 마주하는 솔직한 태도에서 출발한다. 자신의 약점과 치부를 숨기지 않고 드러내는 '셀프디스'를 선택하며, 가공되지 않은 에너지와 허세 없는 진정성을 거침없이 풀어낸다. 그들의 거침없는 에너지는 어디서부터 비롯되는 것일까?
이번 타이틀곡 작사는 외부 작가의 손을 빌리지 않고, 멤버들이 이야기로 직접 써 내려갔다. 각자의 고민과 시선이 고스란히 담긴 가사에는 타인의 언어가 아닌, 이들 자신의 언어가 살아 숨 쉰다. 외부의 시선과 과거의 상흔도 피하지 않고 끌어안으며, 끝내 자신과 직면한다.
'Backtalk'는 단순한 말대꾸가 아니다. 정해진 틀에 얽매이지 않고 자신들의 방식으로 답하며, '뱉어'라는 직설적인 표현을 통해 타인의 기준을 벗어나 자신들만의 궤도를 만들어가는 결기를 보여준다. 그 거침없는 목소리 속에서, 우리는 무엇을 마주하게 될까. 

EVNNE goes beyond being a project group formed through an audition program and presents their first single album as an official group, [Backtalk].
Chosen entirely by the five members themselves, this album begins with an honest attitude of confronting their imperfect selves rather than pretending to be perfect. By embracing “self-diss,” openly revealing their flaws and vulnerabilities instead of hiding them, they express raw energy and unfiltered sincerity without hesitation. Where does this fearless energy come from?
For the title track, the members wrote the lyrics themselves without relying on external writers. The lyrics reflect each member’s personal thoughts and perspectives, carrying their own voices rather than someone else’s. They do not shy away from external judgment or past scars, but instead embrace them and ultimately face themselves.
“Backtalk” is more than just talking back. It represents responding in their own way without being confined to expectations. Through the bold and direct expression of “spitting out,” they demonstrate the determination to break free from others’ standards and carve out their own path. Within their unfiltered voice, what will we come to confront?
