Stray Kids to release their new album “I am YOU” on October 22 — the comeback of one of 2018’s top rookie groups.

Stray Kids will be making their comeback with their new album “I am YOU” on October 22.

The nine-member group — Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N — gained recognition as one of the most promising rookie groups of 2018 and continues to build momentum with this release.

According to JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids will also hold a comeback showcase titled “UNVEIL [Op.03 : I am YOU]” on October 21 at Olympic Hall in Seoul, offering fans a first look at their new performances.

After making their official debut in March with the mini album “I am NOT”, followed by “I am WHO” in August, Stray Kids have explored themes of identity and self-discovery that resonated strongly with their generation. Anticipation is high for the new message they will deliver through “I am YOU.”

Notably, the members participated in writing and composing all tracks on the album, showcasing their continued musical growth. Even before debut, Stray Kids drew attention for their strong songwriting and producing skills, and they have consistently expressed their authenticity through self-produced tracks, from their pre-debut release “Mixtape” to their official albums “I am NOT” and “I am WHO.”

Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)가 10월 22일 새 앨범 'I am YOU'를 발매하고 컴백한다.

2018년 가요계 최고 신인으로 평가받는 9인조 그룹 Stray Kids(방찬, 우진, 리노, 창빈, 현진, 한, 필릭스, 승민, 아이엔)가 컴백 소식을 전하며 다시 한 번 비상을 예고했다.

JYP엔터테인먼트(이하 JYP)는 4일 오전 "Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)가 오는 22일 새 앨범 ‘I am YOU'를 발매한다. 이에 앞서 21일 오후 6시 서울 송파구 방이동 올림픽공원에 위치한 올림픽홀에서 컴백 기념 쇼케이스 'UNVEIL [Op.03 : I am YOU]'를 개최한다"고 밝혔다.

올해 3월 데뷔 미니앨범 'I am NOT'을 발표하고 정식 데뷔한 Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)는 지난 8월 두 번째 미니앨범 'I am WHO'를 발매했다. 정체성에 대한 고민과 이야기를 전개하며 또래의 공감을 샀던 Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)가 'I am YOU'로 또 어떤 새로운 메시지를 전할지 기대감이 높아지고 있다.

특히 Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)는 새 앨범 'I am YOU' 전곡의 작사, 작곡에 참여해 음악적 성장세를 이어간다. 이들은 데뷔 전부터 뛰어난 작사, 작곡, 프로듀싱 능력을 선보여 이목을 모았고, 프리 데뷔 앨범 'Mixtape'를 비롯해 정식 데뷔 후 발매한 앨범들 'I am NOT', 'I am WHO' 모두 자작곡을 담으며 진솔함을 표현했다.
