Following the track order, the album unfolds a narrative that begins with “Alive,” a declaration of existence, moves into “One Man Army,” where a solitary battle is chosen, continues with “Back,” overcoming a defeated past, and concludes with “Cold Moon,” completing inner growth through restrained emotions.

This album is, in particular, a record of the most intense battles that Big Ocean has fought against prejudice surrounding “disability,” and a story that proves who they are today.

Alive

“A different me from yesterday, I will eventually see the light.”

A declaration of existence that endures and blooms even in the darkest moments.
Grand choirs, cinematic soundscapes, and a rough bass rhythm build tension, while the explosive chorus delivers an overwhelming vitality that rises beyond sorrow.
“Alive” serves as the first declaration, signaling the beginning of this battle.

One Man Army (Title)

The title track is inspired by the Battle of Myeongnyang, one of Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s three major naval victories. Drawing from the historic battle where 12 ships defeated over 130 enemy vessels, it portrays the will to achieve a miraculous victory even in seemingly impossible circumstances.

“One Man Army” captures the isolation and desperation of standing alone against the world, yet holding onto an unyielding determination.
Cinematic strings, powerful rhythms, and the resonant sounds of traditional Korean military instruments bring the tension of the battlefield to life, completing the dramatic resolve of a lone figure who stands until the very end.

The performance incorporates formations inspired by Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s “Crane Wing” strategy and naval battle imagery. Together with 20 dancers, the large-scale choreography and the use of sign language-inspired tutting strongly express their identity as a sign language idol group.

“Beyond dissonance, returning in perfect harmony.”

An uptempo pop track that captures the moment of reclaiming oneself after betrayal and chaos. Beginning with a catchy guitar riff, the gradually intensifying sound builds toward the declaration “I’m back,” which signifies more than a return — it is a statement.

It marks another turning point for Big Ocean, returning stronger by transforming pain into strength.

Cold Moon (Title)

“Cold Moon” takes the moon as its motif and, unlike “One Man Army,” which portrays an external battle, this track explores an inner struggle.

Bright synth-pop and new disco grooves combine with a solid four-on-the-floor beat and an addictive bassline to create a polished, uplifting energy.
It expresses a restrained attitude that acknowledges emotions without easily revealing them, portraying a mature self that is formed within that restraint. The contrast between the bright sound and deeper emotional undertones is especially striking.

The performance is inspired by the rotation and revolution of the moon and the Earth, delicately portraying the tension of a relationship that is drawn toward each other while maintaining a certain distance.

수록곡 순서대로 'Alive'로 살아 있음을 선언하고, 'One Man Army'로 홀로 싸움을 선택하며, 'Back'으로 패배한 과거를 딛고 돌아오고, 'Cold Moon'으로 절제된 감정 속 내적 성장을 완성하는 서사를 담았다.
이번 앨범은 특히 '장애'라는 편견과 맞서 싸워온 Big Ocean이 지나온 가장 치열한 전투의 기록이자, 그들의 현재를 증명하는 이야기다.

웅장한 콰이어와 시네마틱 사운드, 거친 베이스 리듬이 긴장감을 쌓아 올리고, 감정이 폭발하는 코러스에서는 슬픔을 넘어선 벅찬 생명력이 터져 나온다.
'Alive'는 이 전투의 시작을 알리는 첫 번째 선언이다.

One Man Army (Title)
이순신 장군의 3대 해전 중 하나인 명량해전을 모티브로 한 타이틀곡. 12척의 배로 130여 척의 적선을 격파한 역사적 전투에서 영감을 받아, 승산이 없어 보이는 상황 속에서도 기적 같은 승리를 만들어내는 의지를 그렸다.
'One Man Army'는 세상을 상대로 홀로 서 있는 듯한 막막함과 절박함, 그럼에도 결코 포기할 수 없는 치열한 마음을 담고 있다.
웅장한 시네마틱 스트링과 강렬한 리듬, 전통 군악기 나발과 나각의 울림이 전장의 긴장감을 생생하게 구현하며, 후퇴와 재정비를 거쳐 마지막까지 서 있는 한 사람의 결의를 드라마틱하게 완성한다.
퍼포먼스는 이순신 장군의 학익진 대형과 해전을 형상화한 구성으로 전개되며, 20명의 댄서와 함께하는 대형 퍼포먼스와 '수어 터팅'을 통해 수어 아이돌로서의 정체성을 강렬하게 보여준다.

“불협화음을 넘어, 완벽한 조화로 돌아오다.”
배신과 혼란을 지나 스스로를 되찾는 순간을 담은 업템포 팝 트랙. 캐치한 기타 리프로 시작해 점점 폭발하는 사운드 위로 울려 퍼지는 “I'm back”은 단순한 복귀가 아닌 선언이다.
상처를 연료 삼아 더 단단해진 모습으로 돌아온 Big Ocean의 또 하나의 전환점이다.

Cold Moon (Title)
'Cold Moon'은 달을 모티브로 한 곡으로, 세상을 향한 외적 전투를 그린 'One Man Army'와 달리 내면의 투쟁을 담아낸 트랙이다.
경쾌한 신스팝과 뉴디스코 그루브 위에 단단한 포온더플로어 비트와 중독성 있는 베이스라인이 더해져 밝고 세련된 에너지를 완성한다.
자신의 감정을 인정하면서도 쉽게 드러내지 않는 절제된 태도, 그리고 그 안에서 완성되는 성숙한 자아를 표현했으며, 밝은 사운드와 대비되는 감정선이 인상적이다.
퍼포먼스는 달과 지구의 공전·자전을 모티브로 구성되어, 서로를 향해 끌리지만 일정한 거리를 유지한 채 맴도는 관계의 긴장감을 섬세하게 그려낸다.
